I first heard this on the Heroes TV series. It's her take on a popular song, apparently.I love her voice, it's like honeyed brandy on a cold rainy day when you just want to curl up in bed and watch the rain beat against the windows. It's been on endless repeat on my player since I downloaded it this morning; it's so soothing, I can probably listen to it till I go to bed this evening. :)
I'll try to upload the audio track for this song one of these days, when I get around to resizing it and when I'm in the vicinity of a faster connection. :) In the meantime, if you're really curious, you could always do what I did and hunt for it in Limewire. You'll need a lot of patience, though; this one isn't easy to find. Lyrics below. Enjoy!
******************** I'm Confessin' Lizz Wright
I'm confessin' that I love you, tell me, do you love me too? I'm confessin' that I need you, honest I do. I need you every moment. In your eyes I read such strange things, but your lips deny they're true.
Will your answer really change things, making me blue? I'm afraid some day you'll leave me, saying "Can't we still be friends?"
If you go, you know you'll grieve me, all in life on you depends. Am I guessing that you love me, dreaming dreams of you in vain? I'm confessin' that I love you, over and over again.
I'm confessin' that I love you. Tell me, do you love me, too? I'm confessin' that I need you, honest I do. Oh, honest I do. Oh, I need you.
